Grandmother is dying?

My grandmother is currently dying and I don't know what to do. She is far away and she suffers from dementia. I love my grandmother very much but I all of the rush I decided to say home while my parents when to visit her. Now I regret making this decision. I feel horrible for now visiting her in the hospital. I fell as if I skipped out on her in her time of need and I also feel like a coward. Remove the starter motor and take off and clean the Bendix gear on the shaft and give little a light oil on the shaft that will allow free movement the Bendix gear. Replace the starter motor and start again. If the Bendix gear is too worn then replace it with a new cheap Bendix gear unit; they are about two bucks from Lows. As an after thought, you might need to replace the spring, too.

My baby was there with his/her heart beating...to those of u who dont know my story...i am currently 7wks 3days and last wednesday i went for a doctor visit and he did an ultrasound and only saw a sac no embryo no yolk sac...he sent me to the hospital to get a sonogram because he said they have better eqipment...in the meantime i googled empty sac and came to find out it was common and its called a blighted ovum..so i thought this is what i had until today....the lady did my sono and as soon as she inserted the l sonogram i saw the sac and in the sac was my little bean...i couldnt believe it...i heard the heart beat and i am soooooooooooooo relieved.....she measured the baby and its exactly where its suppose to be...im soo excited....and to those who are told they dont see an embryo..and to go for a d&c...dont....if u dont have any signs of bleeding or pain and ur in the early stage of pregnancy like i was...then its possible...also she found out that my uterus is tilted, that is probably the reason why my doctor couldnt see the baby...good luck...

The only good food at Petsmart is Blue Buffalo [which my puppy can't seem to handle on his tummy, but you will find out what is right for yours through trial and error] or some Nutro brands. Some people have found that Nutro is not the "best". If you are looking for the cheapest, well the CHEAPEST dog food that is very GOOD for your dog that I have found is called Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. Funny name, but I just switched my Yellow Lab to this. I actually have him on the Puppy Lover's Soul until he is an adult, he will then have the Dog Lover's Soul. I got him a pretty big bad for $25.00 at Pet Supplies Plus here in Chicago. That is very cheap for such a great food. There is no corn or anything in it. It is also a 4 out of 5 star food. Now, if you go to a 5 star food, which is doesn't sound like you want to do, it will be pricey. There are great brands such as Origen, Fromm, etc. and these are rated 5 star premium food that is great for your dog, but they are expensive. I have had several dogs throughout the past 18 years. I am now 26. Now that I recently got a puppy & am older & understand there is way better food then Iams out there, I started researching dog food for the past 4 months and have a lot of info I can p onto you. Most people think Iams & all those widely advertised brands are great, but they are not. They are actually some of the worst. Take a look at this site. This is a list of 5 star dry foods, and you can go to the list on the left for 4 star dry/wet, etc. There is a lot of info on there. I suggest printing them out & going to the store to compare prices. I don't know if you have a Pet Supplies Plus in your area, but look it up. Some places are completely overpriced too. Kicked out of the house for not getting into the right college.?

Why do i have to pay tuition for fairfax county public schools?

I come from a pacific island called palau. I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my sister who is my legal guardian because I am underage, and my problem is that I am having a hard time enrolling for the public high schools here because I don't have my parents here with me even though I live with my sister who has complete legal authority to be my guardian. So when I went to the school I was trying to apply for called Mount Vernon High School they told me that I have to acquire a letter from my parents back in palau that they are ill, poor and all these stupid stuff to prove that they can no longer support me. What could have caused me to lose my baby at 5 months?

I just lost my baby at 20 weeks and 4 days on Monday. I started bleeding (not very heavily, just a little) and it scared me so I went to the hospital. They did an ultrasound and checked for heartbeat. There was no movement nor heartbeat. They actually performed a D&C. The baby was so small (smaller than should have been) but at previous appointments everything looked fine and appeared as though he was forming properly, etc. They could not give me a reason for my loss. I am just wondering what the cause was. Could it have been chromosomal abnormalities? Could it be due to the fact that in the beginning (1st 2 months) of my pregnancy I consumed alcohol? I did not find out I was pregnant until 11 weeks and had regularly consumed alcoholic beverages up until that point. I was also extremely stressed out. Had recently broken up with my boyfriend, my car had broken down and a long series of stressful events. I was very depressed. Was not eating well during the 1st two months (again I remind you, I was unaware of my pregnancy). Also, could the father have anything to do with it? He is a very heavy drinker, smokes and does not take care of himself at all. Just want an answer to why I lost my baby boy.

How far along could I be?

I got a BFP on Jan. 1st and went to the Doctor on the 4th and got it confirmed. According to them I was about 7 weeks, they went off my LMP of Nov. 7. When I went in for an ultrasound Jan 18th, there was no heartbeat. The Doc. said it was either that I wasn't as far along as I thought or that the baby wasn't developing. I have another ultrasound on Feb 17 to see if there is a heartbeat. I am just confused and scarred, I don't know what to think, I would be devastated to find out that my baby wasn't developing and that I would have to have a DNC. If they baby isn't developing would I miscarry naturally, or would I have to have a DNC. Or could I be less than I thought and barely be a couple of weeks. I didn't have a period in Dec. so when would I have conceived in I got a BFP Jan. 1st.

Would you buy a black 2001 Ford Taurus with 250,000 Miles on it?

Its a simple question. the Car is a Black 2001 Ford Taurus. It was originally my fathers company car at work. when he was re-issued a new one, we purchased this one. so basically we are the only owners. we've had it from day one. all the miles are highway miles. we have taken great care of the car and its in great shape. you cant tell its even been 250,000 miles. it has black interior. and like al tauruses of that bosy style the right fender has a tad bit of bubbling from rust. it has been repared profesionally though, and you cant tell at all. it was also side swiped by a semi back in 2005...the truck made a small indentation in the drivers door. like a doughnut. it did not go thorough the door, and it has been painted back, and you cant tell except for the endentations. back when it had 245, 487 miles on it, my father blew a head gasket coming back from cinci. we pulled the heads off, had a vaulve job done on it and the heads polished and such, and a few other things we did to the engine while we repaired it ourselves. its gone 5,000+ miles since then, and its a really reliable car, its clean on the inside and outside, no major dents or scratches. its my car. and im looking into buying a VW Jetta GLI, i was wondering how much i could get out of it, my guess is no more than $2,500. if that. any ideas?

Well, Bree, I don't really know much about the disorder, but I think you can feel more accepted by convincing yourself that you are accepted! Often we convince ourselves that we are alienated and outcasts when really it's all in our heads. I have a funny feeling that no one sees you differently - they see you as a wonderful, fun girl. You have good friend so what more do you need? I think at this point you need to let yourself be happy. Try to see past your disability - everyone is disabled in some way! No one is perfect. Instead of thinking, "No one likes me becasue of this", think "Well...why WOULDN'T they like me?" You have so many good points, don't let yourself get down about this. Be more confident in yourself, and others will see you as a confidant girl. Best of luck!

Cow's milk and a nine month old???

i am a pediatric nurse practitioner by day. I have three of my own kids, from 11 months to 6 years. I see patients all day long. I have a sister that has a 9 month old. She has nursed him up to this point, but now she is giving him cow's milk in a bottle. I have TRIED to tell her the dangers of this, even given her reading material about it. She called my office and asked me today how she could get him to stop nursing at night as well and just get him on the cow milk all together. I told her that I thought it was a horrible idea to do that and she then doubted my medical knowledge as her pediatrician ( full fledged Dr., not just a "Nurse Practitioner" like me...) told her it was okay to do it. What can I do! I need to let her know that she is making a bad choice. Maybe if you all answer this question and she can see the vast majorities opinion, it will help her understand. Thanks!

36 Weeks Pregnant, and Horrible Hemorrhoids.... Please Help!?

I am 36 weeks pregnant, and have the worst case of hemorrhoids ever! I have been to the doc last week, and he lanced 4 or 5 of them open b/c they had blood clots in them. Needless to say, it hurt really bad, and still hurts now. I still have them, or should I say new ones. I have been standing over the toliet to urinate and I am also on bedrest.... doc explained to me that being on my feet only puts more pressure on my rectum. So, the question is besides Preperation H and Tucks pads, does anyone have any suggestions on ways for me to relieve the constant pain that I am in? Thanks so much in advance!

38w5d pregnant, menstrual like cramps?

They don't feel like Braxton Hicks contractions, and they are pretty constant, but only at night. They don't come in waves or anything, it feels exactly like mild PMS. I have no idea if I'm dilated or not, the last time I was checked was at 36 weeks, and I was completely closed. Well they only get their info from the mainstream media which is highly liberal so they are skewed to one side only. What does my dream mean?

I had a dream last night where aliens had abducted me, i wasn't scared at all, BUT when I was on this chair they flashed series of numbers followed by world catastrophes such as; 9112001 and it would switch to a flash of the planes hitting the twin towers. 1271941 then ships being blown up by planes. 1261917 two boats colliding and then it fast forwards about 20 minutes and the one ship completely explodes (im leaving out about 10!) ill go to the last... 1262012 its just me lying in bed, im literally watching myself sleep then i wake up in the dream, i walk to the window and look out but it goes blindingly bright and a loud bang. then i woke up in real life. The part i find the weirdest is that all the numbers are so stuck in my head, all 13 groups. all but the 911 attack started with the numbers 12 and after searching these numbers i found out that the pearl harbor bombing was in December, when the imo and mont blanc collided in Halifax the date was December 7 1941 or 12/7/1941 this really shook me up because the last date was in 2012, i never believed in any of that but after my surreal experience im wondering what this dream could mean? I believe you'll need firmware version 6.20. It’s simple really… Sony has structurally changed the firmware in a number of ways prohibiting current homebrew in its current state. If custom firmware 6.xx were to happen right this day then developers would need to adapt their homebrew to the 6.xx kernel. Not to mention other functions would remain broken too. In the end it would be somewhat similar to the 1.50 to 3.xx transition we experienced way back when. So lets stick to the game plan and these regular 5.50 GEN / 5.03 HEN patches are likely to accommodate what’s needed; i.e. compatibility for games requiring 6.20 or higher. Lets just hope we’re back on PSN with GEN-D3/HEN-C, and then we can save Custom Firmware 6.xx for another day

My sister and her husband are moving to Charlotte because of FEDEX and I was offered to fallow them to be with my nephew and soon to be niece (yay). But what im wondering is what is Charlotte like? Ok first of all being wise is not the same as being smart. Its being able to relate to and understand things when you talk to people. Literacy is a good thing but you have to let loose sometimes. Being wise isn't just that you read a lot of books and know a lot of pretty much useless facts, its also about knowing about thing that happen outside the clroom like going out and having a bit of a wild side. To be wise you have to have been stupid at one point or else you'll never have learned anything at all. This isn't something that can be learned from a book. There isn't any reason you shouldn't enjoy being young and that includes wanting to be a wise person... All you are right now is smart or knowledgable wise comes later on in life. To be old and wise you must first have been young and stupid

Am i crazy or what, i just dont get it?

i always liked writing when i was a kid, but somewhere in the 7th form, i gave up, because things got more serious that some childish stories. 2 year ago i became really crazy about music, and my taste in it is really strange to. When i lie in bed, i always listen to music (mostly trip-hop and anime osts :D) and i start imagining things. not things, but the whole story! Stories. The characters and everyone, mostly fantasy, fighting, no normal things :D and things i have never thought about before. I mean, i dont just lie an think what the main character will say or something, it comes itself. Mostly about what life is, about not being human and not feeling anything while killing tons of people, about the reason to live. And most of the stories are sort of dart. It's like a movies, with the main character, his personality. Then i start drawing this characters, and in became really interesting. i tried writing the first story, and liked it at first, but in the middle i stopped. I could imagine things about that same story anymore. And i gave up on writing cause i thought i was because i like wrote some secret i shouldnt have or something. In these 2 years i have imagined somewhere around 50 stories. And the characters are like my friends, and when something sad happens in my story, i cry too. I cant live without imagining things. And i was like in depression when i stopped for a while. I am addicted to it. I have a normal life, normal friends who i often quarrel with, and it makes me crazy. I always cry at night, and when i am alone i cant stop but think about things, about life, about family, mostly things that arent normal. And i cry because i want to be in one of my stories, because i think my life is boring, and no matter what happens, if i have a good job, a normal life and family when i grown up, i still wont be satisfied. it will end someday, and nothing out of ordinary will happen. I always want to be next to my characters, and i the things that interest most teenage girls here, dont interest me, though i always pretend they do. And i like reading things about hallucinations, psychology, Dissociative identity disorder, phobias , though i dont get much. I feel like i dont belong here. I think i am gong a little crazy, and there is nobody near me i can talk to about it. I feel like i am living like a robot, i do everything i am said to, and whenever i say no to people, they dont expect this from me and get really angry at me and ask me where did the old me go, because i used to be a nice kid. My 12 year old daughter talks to herself?

My 12 year old daughter is constantly talking to herself. It is as if she is having a conversation with other people. Sometimes she is so entranced in these "illusions" that she doesn't notice anyone around her. When I ask who she is talking with she says she is just pretending that she is in different situations, eg: that she lots of friends around and they are playing. It seems as if she does this far too often, maybe 20-30 times a day. The teachers haven't noticed this at school but when I asked her she said that she does do this at school and everyone else does too. I am concerned and I will be scheduling an appointment with a doctor. Does someone have any insight as to what I might expect? Note: Not sure if this is relevant but, my 3 year old son has just been diagnosed with Epilepsy from a frontal lobe abnormality.

I just started going to church with my grandma on Sundays two weeks ago. The first week I went, I was sitting in the pew and looked over and saw my english teacher. I about died. She is not one of my favorite teachers but shes not evil or anything. I hoped she wouldn't see me but after church she came over and talked to me. She said "You lucky girl! You get to see me six days this week!" Then she gave me a hug. I was thinking O yeah, lucky me! And what with the hugs? She doesn't do that at school! Anyway the second week I pretended like I didn't see her and did't tallk to her. The last thing I want to do is see my teacher on the weekend. I know I am going to have to get used to her being there but how should I act. Should I pretend I don't see her every week or do I go and tell her hi. I never went out of my way to disinfect. I just cleaned it weekly like I normally would unless it got dirty somehow. I never had any problems. I think your fine to go back to your normal routine. Glad to hear you are all healed up!
