How do I break up with him officially?

My boyfriend of 3 months decided he would be cute and funny until we starts going out, then he was gonna be weird. Like he went to d!cks with me and my mom and put on a pair of little pink running shorts and he made weird mouth noises and chased ducks around while quacking and just acted like a weirdo. It was freaking embarring because now I'm known in my family as the one with the weird boyfriend. Not to mention my sister has a perfect boyfriend which makes me even more of a loser by comparison. I dot bring alot of boys home so I don't like my family thinking I can only get weirdos. Plus he just plain gets on my nerves. So he's in Florida so I can't call him so I sent him a message on Facebook saying I needed a break. He goes by himself on the beach and calls me. He's saying "we can make changes, and we've been going out so long, and it's so unexpected, and I miss you and like you alot," and all this other crap and basically throwing himself a pity party. I tol him I'd think about it but idk what to say! I wanna break up with him because if it's hard now I can inagine how hard it would be the second time... Please help.
