Can anyone suggest songs to me so i can listen to?

I love the songs that are on my mp3 now but I would like more and I can't seem to find the type of songs I'm looking for.I know that I wouldn't mind the genre as long as its a good song and the subject can vary depending on what you would like to suggest but something different from the stuff you hear on the radio like lady gaga. I'm looking for songs that talk about life and experience and pain,struggle,happiness,poverty,love,sic… artists/bohemian life style,children,depression,disorders,dise… abuse,hope,humor,and anything real or about reality on what goes on and the way people can feel and different situations...I know this is kind of a lot but if I could just have some help from as many people as I can then maybe I can get this nagging feeling out of my head...well thanks to who ever decides to post something XD
