Is this a womanly problem or stomach problem?

All month long I suffer from pains in my pelvic region. It will be by my ovaries, but even move up into my belly close to my belly on. sometimes it feels like it's in my bellyon. The pains are uncomfortable and achey. My doc said they could be just period pains or some sort of gas. I looked up Irritle bowel syndrome and it seemed like that but my doc said he can't tell. Then once it's close to my period time, I'll get shooting pains up my rectum. I think it's all connected somehow. I'll hurt when I'm ovulating, when I have gas, and when I have my period. The types of pains will vary, but other times they all feel the same. What is wrong with me???
